By Air
The nearest Airport from Ujjain is the Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport, Indore which is 56 km away and flights from all major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai regularly fly to Indore. Also, The Raja Bhoj International Airport, Bhopal is 180 km from Ujjain.

By Train
The Ujjain junction is 1 km from the city center. It is connected to major parts of India and trains from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, and Kolkata route come to Ujjain daily.
